I have spent the last few years immersed in the study of static sculpture and extroflexions... And this has led me to delve deeply into the theme of design and minimalism.
Since last June, the month in which I turned 51, something in me has changed. I have felt a strong need for color, immediacy, instinct and also for large surfaces on which to challenge myself and express myself.
So, after a long reflection, also favored by the satisfaction felt in the assignment of some works that this summer I was able to realize immersed in the magnificent and magical nature of Sicily, surrounded by friends of all ages. On these occasions I understood that we all felt the need for serenity, joy, desire to play and well-being...
So I decided to turn the page and dedicate myself entirely to an art completely inspired by the colours of nature... going back a bit to the beginning, when I felt manneristic superstructures I expressed myself in complete honesty.
This is one of my first paintings of a new series... and maybe also of a new me. I wanted to call these works simply "abstract".
The work has an overall size of 100x104 cm and has neither a stretcher nor a frame.
You can simply frame it with a frame of about 94x97 cm and then if you like, insert a simple thin black frame...
Given the large size, the work will be rolled up and shipped in cardboard with a polystyrene and bubble wrap reinforcement inside for maximum safety and cost-effective transportation.
The work is accompanied by a photographic certificate signed by me containing the particularities of the painting.
