Collection: Action painting

Today I propose you a painting dating back to an old cycle of my studies that dates back to a period between 2016 and 2020.

The idea is to make abstract expressionism something new, so I combined action painting with the monochromatic simplicity and elegance of a few colors like black and red. The lines are tense and enveloping and create a modern and minimal atmosphere.

I called this series of works simply with the predominant color, in this case the title is: "red and black". Thinking back to this work, after some time, I was so struck by it that in the near future I will take up the theme on a large surface.

This work of mine comes from my private collection and measures cm. 112x161 in total. Once mounted on the frame, taking into account the canvas needed for fixing, the dimensions of the painting will be approximately cm. 104x153.
